White Sauce Pasta Recipe Ingredients

200-250g Pasta (Penne / Macaroni)
Milk 500ml
2 cubes Butter
2 tbsp All-purpose flour
1 tbsp Salt (for taste)
1/2 tbsp Pepper powder
1 tbsp Oregano
1 tbsp Chili flakes
Sweet corn (optional veggies)
Onion
Capsicum (Bell pepper)

Gather all the required ingredients. Wash and clean capsicum (bell pepper) and onion. Cut the capsicum (bell pepper) in half. Remove the seeds and inner membranes. Slice them according to your preference. In the same way, cut the onion into slices. Also, keep your sweet corn ready to use all three in the further process.

Choose your pasta – penne, macaroni, fusilli, or spaghetti. Place a large pot on a stove, add enough water and turn the heat up. Once water starts boiling add your favorite pasta. Add a little amount of salt for the taste. Cook them for 10-15 minutes, and don’t forget to stir in between to avoid sticking each other.

Check whether the pasted is cooked, turn off the heat, and carefully drain it using a colander. Save some water, you can use it if the sauce becomes thick while cooking.

Take a frying pan and preheat. Add 2 cubes of butter to the frying pan. Allow the butter to melt completely. As soon as the butter melts, move to the next step of the recipe quickly.

Add 2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour and stir it continuously for about a minute. Slowly add the milk to the frying pan, and keep on stirring until it begins to thicken. Add 1 tablespoon of oregano, 1 tablespoon of chili flakes, 1/2 tablespoon of pepper powder, and 1 tablespoon of salt for taste and stir.

When you find the white sauce more thickened than before, then add the veggies – sweet corn, bell pepper (capsicum), and onion. In the same way as before, keep on stirring the dish slowly.
